Per my chat discussion with Oleg on 28/03/25. When I run a standard sales report out of Shopify I can get a combined total cost of goods for each work week as a separate column alongside the sales data. The field used in Shopify to track the cost of goods sold (COGS) is called “cost per item”. The way the standard Shopify sales reports work is to look at the combined units sold for the given work week and then multiply up the combined cost of those units. This combined cost of goods datapoint is critical as it enables us to track gross margin from week to week. I have searched the available fields in Windsor and I can’t find this field. I have tried running some tests using the https://windsor.ai/data-field/shopify/#product_variant_inventory_item_cost field but this does not seem to work when running aggregated reports (e.g. total gross sales, total net sales, total orders etc. by ISO work week). Please add the cost per item field and enable it for use in aggregated sales by ISO work week reporting so that we can view all of our weekly sales and associated cost of goods and margins all from one report. I am using the Google Sheets connector for my report outputs. Thanks.
